MAUMEE, Ohio, Oct. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Incorporated (NYSE: DAN) today announced that Nick Stavrakis has been appointed managing director for all operations in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the company's service and assembly center in South Africa, effective Nov. 20.
Stavrakis comes to Dana from SAF-Holland Australia Pty. Ltd., where he served as managing director for the last nine years. Prior to that, he worked within the industry as CEO and has held business development and product management roles. He has earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Victorian University of Technology.
"Nick is an industry veteran with a strong knowledge of Australia and New Zealand," said Antonio Valencia, senior vice president, Dana China and Oceania. "His wealth of industry and regional experience will be especially valuable to Dana and our customers as we continue to execute our enterprise strategy and grow the business in these important markets."
Dana also announced that Peter Langworthy, who has served as managing director of Dana Australia for the past seven years, will be retiring at the end of the year.
