P2.5 Hybrid Dual-Clutch Transmission
P2.5 Hybrid Dual-Clutch Transmission
The Graziano Electrified hybrid 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (HDCT) is derived from the standard DCT version and integrates the hybrid connection to the electric motor between the engine and the transmission. The HDCT features a parallel connection to provide all P2 functionality with limited impact on the powertrain length.
- Add-on park lock function
- Optional hydraulic power available to control active aerodynamics
- Locking, disconnecting, standard, and torque vectoring differential options
- Packaging benefits by fitting into the space previously taken by a 7-speed DCT
- Cost effective, lighter, and more efficient than dual-clutch transmission (DCT) alternatives
- No interruption of torque transmission (zero-second gearshift feeling)
- Better comfort
- Faster acceleration
- 1st gear ensures driving at low speed with low clutch slip (high reduction ratio)
- 7th gear allows reduction of fuel consumption (low reduction ratio)
- EV mode enables driving at low speed with zero emissions
- Electric boost for faster acceleration or reduction of fuel consumption
